F- It Fridays (Singles Awareness Day Edition)
Dear Single People,
When I was single, I used to hate Valentine’s Day. Sure, there would be lots of chocolate around and my mom would always buy me a nice gift, but it just sucked. Until I met my husband, I never seemed to have a boyfriend on February 14th. Or worse, I’d have a breakup just a few weeks before. So, if you are totally hating couples right now, I feel ya. But remember, it’s only 24 hours and you have to be in a relationship with yourself for the rest of your life.
So, use Valentine’s Day as an excuse to treat yourself kindly. Get dinner or have a fun right with a friend at home. Go to a singles event and give away your smooches freely. Or buy yourself a cupcake, a bottle of wine and cry on your couch. I won’t judge you. Been there. Done that. Then go drunk shopping and check out my favorite Singles Awareness Day treats.
